Luckily, we are here to help streamline this for you and can offer many options including online accounting software that you can access, accounts receivable and payable management, bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliation, general ledger maintenance and account management.
CORPORATION TAX – Business owners must ensure that their corporation tax is calculated accurately, and we can help you to do that in the most tax efficient manner. We work hard to make sure that you are claiming all the right allowances and expenses and paying the right tax, so that your company benefits accordingly.
SELF ASSESSMENT – If you need help at any level with your self assessment tax return, we can help you with that. Often, even thinking about completing a tax return is enough to overwhelm even the most organised business owner and we like to solve that problem by completing them and submitting them to HMRC on your behalf. If you use us to do your end of year accounts, we can also then do the self assessment tax return as an addition to that process.
VAT – Doing your VAT return can be a long-winded and complicated process. They need to be completed following the correct legislation, precisely documented and sent to HMRC on time. This can be quite the endeavour and if not done correctly, you could pay too much or not enough and then be punished by the HMRC.
PAYROLL – We provide a completely outsourced payroll facility, where we’ll handle your payroll, deliver an employee payment summary, calculate the tax and national insurance due and deal with any payments such as sick leave, parental leave and pension contributions.
COMPANY SECRETARIAL – To adhere to the Companies Act, companies are required to keep annual records. If you need assistance with this, we can help with various aspects of it including completing the Companies House forms, completing your annual confirmation statement, keeping statutory registers up to date, organising documentation for the annual general meeting and working as the company secretary, if needed.
BUSINESS START-UP – Creating your own business can be a wonderful thing but it can also be confusing and full of hurdles. We have worked with many start-ups across many different fields and our team can advise on a range of subjects. MAKING TAX DIGITAL – This is a new HMRC enterprise to help businesses stay on top of their taxes and do them correctly. From 1st April 2022, all businesses that are registered for VAT must be registered for it. Eligible businesses will need to keep digital records on accounting software. We can help you make your records compatible and make the change over to Making Tax Digital, a smooth one.
